Berberine is an alkaloid present in a number of plants, including barberry, tree turmeric, Oregon grape and goldenseal. Its history dates back 3 000 years, when it used in traditional Chinese and Indian Ayurvedic medicine. Berberine has fast become one of the most researched plant extracts and remains in the scientific spotlight supported by 4500 published studies.

Indications: Supports glucose metabolism and healthy blood sugar levels as well as cardiovascular and gastrointestinal health.
Recommended use:
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 capsule 2 to 3 times daily before or with meals, or as recommended by your healthcare provider.

Each capsule contains:
Berberine HCI (from Berberis aristata extract root): 500 mg
Origine 8®: 125 mg
[75 mg Phytophare® green tea extract (of which catechin EGCG 32 mg) and 50 mg
phosphatidylcholine complex]
Chromium: 25 µg
The other ingredients are silica and Organic Nu-Rice® in a clear vegetable capsule.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the ingredients
Concurrent administration of ciclosporin
