Bio-Curcumin Advanced utilises BCM-95 which has been scientifically proven to be one of the most efficient and effective ways to supplement with Curcumin because it is known to have poor oral bioavailability. Curcumin is a polyphenolic compound derived from the spice turmeric.
Bio Curcumin is a natural anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-microbial and analgesic compound that has been found to be involved in alleviating cognitive decline associated with ageing, reducing lipid and plaque levels in arteries, reducing the risk of diabetes, lowering the risk of various types of cancers, treating obesity and alleviating joint pain. Bio Curcumin’s antioxidant and cholesterol reducing action has also been seen to benefit liver health.
Bio-Curcumin Advanced also contains AKBAMAX, a proprietary formulation of Boswellia extract. Boswellia, otherwise known as Indian frankincense, is an herbal extract from the Boswellia serrata tree. Boswellia resin has been used for centuries in Asian and African traditional medicine and is believed to treat chronic inflammatory illnesses. Studies show that boswellia may be useful in treating osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis because of its anti-inflammatory and painkilling effects.
