A mobile, yellowish to greenish yellow oil, having a fresh-citrusy, rather sweet odour.

Properties and indications:
MIND
Has an overall uplifting effect, valuable in states of stress. Could stabilize manic-depression. Said to be euphoric and slightly hypnotic.
BODY
A lymphatic stimulant, nourishing to tissue cells. It may have an effect on obesity and water-retention and is strongly indicated in combating cellulite. It stimulates bile secretion, helping with digestion of fats. Could also be an appetite stimulant, however, said to have a cleansing effect on the kidneys and the vascular system, and could be useful in diffusing gallstones. Said to be a liver tonic. May help to relieve migraine, PMT, and uncomfortable feeling during pregnancy. Could be used to counteract effects of jetlag, and may help to restore balance after ear infections.
SKIN
Has an astringent, toning effect.
Other uses:
Fragrance component in perfumes. Used extensively in desserts, and soft drinks.
